Just got back from the SAA conference in Cleveland (if you ever get a chance to eat at this place don't pass it up it is To Die For) and my little fangirl heart is very happy. So I went to the Pop Culture Association conference in Chicago last week and WOW because IDEAS!!! I came home with pages and pages and pages of notes from every panel I went to, and lists upon lists of topics I now want to research and write about. ...and about damn time.  There are icicles as thick as my wrist hanging off the neighbors' house, our utility bill was over $300 last month, I haven't seen the surface of the driveway in weeks, and the water in the dog bowls has been frozen solid since mid-January (though their poop freezes too which makes cleaning the yard easier ( Read more... )
